Course Description: 50% hands-on 50% class room. A fundamental overview of flexographic press operations for operators with existing print experience (not necessarily flexo), this course focuses on the technical aspects of flexography with a focus of the print components and their impact on print. Students will run three different flexo jobs starting with a one color and ending with a four color process job. Students will run water and UV inks; die cutting is not covered in this class. Each day kicks off with a quiz of the content from the previous day and the class concludes with a 100 questions written final.
This class is targeted at educating current operators who have not yet received any formal training and/or operators experienced in a printing method other than flexographic.

Day 8 – 4CP job on press
Day 9 - Anilox sleeves and doctor blades and chamber setup
Day 10 – 100 question written final

Payments due date:
12 week class –35% ($2,800) none refundable down payment due 7 days after registration. $5,200 (remaining balance) due 60 days prior to start of class or seat is forfeited.
Flexo 101 - 100% tuition payment due at time of enrollment (registration) to reserve your seat. (Your spot in the class will not be reserved until payment is received)
Drop Policies::
If student drops or gets dropped from the program in the first week of class, the company that sponsored them can fill that slot with another candidate. After week one, there is no refund and they cannot add another student.
